End of ’11
Everything was Altered is nearly a year old now. Time flies.
I’ve made it through the first half of my 1-year graduate program. Only one final semester awaits to be vanquished. Advancing dual licensure tests (and accompanying bureaucratic process) will finally grant me access to my chosen field of employment, and to once again enjoy the privilege of creative pursuits.
I’m close to finishing 3 tracks that I started during the summer after I acquired a new synth and an unearthed an older one along with a hardware sequencer from storage.
These will hopefully be opening up new paths to stave off redundancy (Everything was Altered was 100% sample-based) and allow for alternative composition methods. The first appearance of lyrics in a BLÆRG track are forthcoming as well, delivered via vocoder no less. Many ideas for future progress are germinating in my thoughts. Time, however, remains to be devoted to academic and clinical practice concerns for now.
Thanks for continuing to listen, read, etc.
